The Ontario Hickory Tour is pleased to announce
the tournament dates / locations for
the 2010 season........
There will be four matches in 2010, using pre-1900 hickory clubs and 1920's hickory clubs.
We are using McIntyre-White "period" golf balls for these events, and for
the C.B. Macdonald Challenge in September.
Pre-1900 play is with a line cut, limited flight golf ball ($10.00 per ball).
We are using the same ball as used at the Foxburg event (Pennsylvania).
This ball was specially designed to replicate the gutty balls of the pre-1900 era.
Pre-1900 tournament co-ordinators are hoping that all pre-1900 play will be with this ball eventually.
Post-1900 events will featute the bramble ball as first used at the 2009 C.B. Macdonald event.
These balls are available at $10.00 for a sleeve of three balls.
Balls will be available at each tournament site. Get extras for practice at your home course.

NOTE:
Four tee times have been reserved for each event.
Players are asked to reserve a spot in the field
at least ten days prior to the event.
If these four tee times are not filled ten days before the event,
I will contact the golf course
and release the times back to the club's starter.
If more than sixteen players sign up, I will create a waiting list,
and I will try to get enough times to allow for
all interested golfers to participate.
This may or may not be possible.
An e-mail reminder will be sent out about three weeks
prior to each event.
Enter early to secure your tee time.
See you on the golf course....
